♥ʚϊɞ♥ An Unfinished Life ♥ʚϊɞ♥

This Memorial site was created to Honor & Remember our Loving Son David Joshua Fleet who was born at 8:04 am in Framingham,MA on Saturday, May 2nd, 1981 and went to Heaven at 3:03 am on Saturday, May 8th, 2004, when Davey's life was stolen by a stranger/monster from hell while saving the lives of 12 of his BF's including his sister, suddenly and violently at his own back door, after having just turned 23 years young! Also on his Dad's birthday and one day before Mom's Day... 

Days that will never be celebrated in our home again. May 2nd, the glorious day that God gave Davey to us is all that matters now and the Amazing 23 years and 5 days that we had with our Davey! He had so much more life to live and give! The best years of our lives are gone now, never to be again!

 David was a special child since birth, always so lovable and content, a joy to raise. He grew from our little bumblelion into a handsome athletic young man with a beautiful smile, or his devilish grin, lol, and sparkling blue eyes that just drew you in and such an exceptional personality! 

Davey was an 'UNBEATABLE' one-on-one basketball nut ~ day or dark nites! Every single day since he could read the newspaper, throughout school years, work years, till the day before he was gone, Dave would come home and have a light mid-aft. meal, preferably Beefaroni, and read every INCH of the sports section ;) And he was not too happy when he couldn't find it or it was missing, lol. Dave truly would have been one of the greatest sports writers! Dave loved all sports, you could ask him anything about any sport or player, college or pro, and he always knew anything you could possibly ask ;) ~ I really miss that ~ I always depended on him.

 David's passions were sports and a variety of music; baseball, basketball, football, track & field, especially basketball and track, and he excelled at all! I will add here shortly all his many GREAT accomplishments in his life in sports, omg its gonna be ALOT, the Track alone will be soo long.All of you who know Dave know all too well I am sure of his athletic abilities;) Dave was simply a Natural Born Athlete! To START: Dave ran the 1,2,& 3.1 mile, and the High-Jump, all throughout HS. The 1 & 2 mile are run in the Indoor & Outdoor seasons along with the High-Jump. The 3.1 mile is run during Cross-country season ~ Fall. Now Dave ran the 1 & 2 mile 'one after another', he did whatever was needed for his team. I am still told to this day that, 'NO ONE RUNS BOTH', but Our Davey did and Loved every second of his runs. He ran with such ease, like a finely tuned machine! I have now been hearing that no one even runs the 1 mile anymore. You need 'strength & stamina' for these runs, which is apparently hard to find these days, and our Davey was blessed with both.

Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Stone Temple Pilots were just some of his favorites musicians and he loved so many more, all different styles of guitars. Music was a HUGE part of Dave's LIFE! Having lots of wonderful true friends meant the world to him, classic hot rods, and of course the many girls who loved him! Davey was named Babe Magnetin his Sr.Yearbook, Class of 1999 at Ashland High School! The Last Class of the Century! 

 Strumming his guitar, playing basketball, hanging with his many true friends, cruising in his totally restored 1968 Olds Cutlass convertible, '96 GT, or at one of our many family gatherings was all he needed to make him SHINE! David was a Red Sox and Patriots fanatic like any true New Englander! He loved working with his Dad, his very best friend, in our business or restoring classic cars! 

 
Our Davey was always happy, smiling, kind, gentle, on the go, and friendly to all. And oh what a unique character, as everyone who ever knew him could easily see right away! He loved being with his family, his big sister Melanie, little sister Michelle, and little brother Ricky! 

 
Dave lived his entire life in Ashland, MA and had only moved into his 1st apartment just six months before, then he moved again just down the street and he was so proud of his new home! 

 
A bright light in our lives is missing forever but he will live on in the love and comfort he gave to each one of us! Davey deserved so much more in his life, our family must learn to go on in his Honor! We will love, miss, and pray for our Davey boy every second of every day forever! 

 
Dave was a treasure to be sure. We will always be so proud of the fine young man he had become! David will be part of our lives forever. We pray that we will be together again and that he is in a better place! We loved our Davey unconditionally! He was so proud to be Dave Fleet, part of our family and our irrigation business, which would have been his NOW!
